The S.C. Cooperatives Care Foundation is an IRS 501(C)(3) tax-exempt organization, and its purpose is to help the victims of natural disasters. The Foundation was established in 2005 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and in the years since, it has sent over $300,000 to the victims of hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods, typhoons, and other natural disasters. The Foundation’s staff and Board are volunteers.
With the exception of required compliance fees, every penny donated to the Foundation goes to those in need. And contributions are tax deductible, so this charity is a great way to help our cooperative family, both in South Carolina and around the world.
