(Columbia) - When forty-six rising high school seniors left South Carolina in June  for a week-long all expenses paid trip to our nation's capital, our high definition camera went, too.  From touring Mount Vernon to visiting the memorials to meeting South Carolina's lawmakers on Capitol Hill, we captured it all.

Check out the high definition video on the right.  In just two minutes, you'll get a pretty good sense of how much the students did--a lot of walking--and how much fun they had.  Oh, they also learned a lot about co-ops and how government works.

Big thanks to each of South Carolina's electric cooperatives who selected outstanding students to represent our state in Washinton, D.C.

Next year's Youth Tour will take place June 11-16.
